General Settings
The General Settings page allows you to configure the default behavior, language, and permissions for Clover across your entire Discord server.
How to Access
- Login to Clover Dashboard.
- Select your server from the server list.
- Select the General tab from the tabs list to open the page.
The settings configured on this page are Global Defaults. They will NOT be used if you have configured specific game channels in the Channels Settings tab.
If a specific channel is set up for games, the bot will strictly follow the roles and language assigned to that specific channel, entirely ignoring these General Settings.
Bot Prefix
Determine the custom prefix that the bot will respond to when used before a command name. The prefix can be a maximum of 3 characters in length.

feature.
Message Color
Customize the color of all messages embeds sent by the bot to perfectly match your server's theme and visual colors.
- This is a Premium-only feature.
All Commands Roles
Set the baseline roles that have access to use any command in the bot, provided it is not explicitly restricted by other specific role settings below.
- Limits: Maximum of 3 roles in the Free version, and up to 10 roles in Premium .
Event Commands Roles
Set the roles that have the authority to start Multiplayer/Group games. This includes the following games: Roulette, Mafia, XO, Rock Paper Scissors & more.
- Limits: Maximum of 3 roles in the Free version, and up to 10 roles in Premium .
Stop Event Roles
Grant specific roles the power to forcefully stop active multiplayer games.
- Limits: Maximum of 3 roles in the Free version, and up to 10 roles in Premium .
Vote Command Roles
Allow specific roles to use the /vote command. This command creates a server-wide poll for multiplayer games. Once the poll ends, the game with the highest number of votes will start automatically.
- Limits: Maximum of 3 roles in the Free version, and up to 10 roles in Premium .
A user MUST have a role assigned in the All Commands Roles for any of the other role permissions to work.
If a user does not have an "All Commands" role, their other specific roles (like Event or Vote roles) will be completely useless, regardless of how many permissions they have. They must pass the "All Commands" filter first before the bot checks their specific usage roles!
Language
Select the primary language the bot will use to communicate, send game instructions, and display interfaces in your server. Clover fully supports both Arabic (العربية) and English, ensuring your community can play in the language they are most comfortable with.
Identity Button
Activate or deactivate the "Powered by Clover" button attached to the bottom of game messages. This button displays our bot's identity and includes quick links to our support server and website.
- Free Version: This button is permanent and will always appear.
- Premium Version : You can choose to hide this button completely for a cleaner, fully custom-branded server experience.
