Top Players

The Top Players page is your server's official leaderboard. It tracks and ranks the most active and skilled players in your community based on their wins in Clover's mini-games.

How to Access​

  1. Login to Clover Dashboard.
  2. Select your server from the server list.
  3. Select the Top Players tab from the tabs list to open the page.

How the Scoring Works​

The leaderboard is entirely automated and updates as your members play games. Here is exactly how points are calculated:

  • Winning = Points: Points are only gained by playing and winning the mini-games.
  • 1 Win = 1 Point: Every time a player wins a game round, they are rewarded exactly 1 point.
  • Special Scoring Games: While the standard rule is 1 win = 1 point, certain games like Snake and Matching feature a different scoring method where players can earn multiple points in a single game based on their performance.
  • Top 50 Only: To keep the dashboard clean and competitive, the page exclusively displays the Top 50 players in your server. If someone drops below the 50th rank, they will need to win more games to reappear on the board.

Understanding the Interface​

The leaderboard is designed to give maximum glory to your best players. Looking at the list, you will see:

  • The Top 3: The #1, #2, and #3 players get special visual highlights (Gold, Silver, and Bronze row backgrounds) to easily recognize your server's elite gamers.
  • Player Info: Displays the user's Discord avatar and exact username (e.g., @a9e).
  • Total Points: The exact number of points they have accumulated on the far right.
Host Server Tournaments!

You can use this page to host weekly or monthly events in your server. For example, reward the #1 player at the end of the month with a special Discord Role or prize!

Resetting the Leaderboard​

If you want to start a new "season" or clear the current scores to give everyone a fresh start, admins can wipe the leaderboard directly from Discord.

To reset all points for everyone in the server, use the following command in any channel where Clover can read messages:

/reset_points
Administrator Only

You must have the Administrator permission in your Discord server to run this command.

Warning

Using /reset_points is permanent and cannot be undone. All players will be reset to 0 points, and the Top Players dashboard will be cleared until new games are won. Make sure you truly want to wipe the scores before using this command!
