Matching Game

Test your memory! Matching is a classic pair-finding puzzle played entirely using interactive Discord buttons.

The bot will generate a large grid of hidden emojis. Your goal is to click the buttons to reveal the emojis underneath and find all the matching pairs. Remember where each emoji is located, because if you click two that don't match, you'll have to try again!

Objective: Reveal and match all the hidden emoji pairs on the board to clear the grid.

🕹️ How to Play​

  1. Start the Game: Use the command below to spawn a new memory board. 
    .matching
  2. Reveal: Click any of the dark buttons on the grid to flip it over and reveal the hidden emoji.
  3. Match: Click a second button to find its pair. If they match, the buttons turn green and stay revealed. If they don't match, they might turn red temporarily and then hide again.
  4. Win: Successfully find and match all the pairs on the board to complete the game.
⚠️ Single Instance

You cannot run more than one Matching game in the same channel at the same time. You must wait for the current session to end before starting a new one.

⚡ Game Rules​

  • ⏱️ Time Limit: Play until the board is cleared or the interaction times out.
  • 🏆 Reward: 15 Points for completing the game.
  • 🎮 Input Type: Clicking Buttons.
Winning Strategy

Slow down! Don't just click randomly. Methodically go row by row to build a mental map of the board. Taking a second to consciously register an emoji's position will save you a lot of time searching later!
